Recipe Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup M&M’S Milk Chocolate, divided
- 6 regular marshmallows
Directions:
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes (+30 minutes standing time)
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch square pan and line with parchment paper, with paper overhanging edges.
- In medium bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder and salt.
- In large bowl, stir together melted butter and brown sugar until well combined. Using an electric mixer, beat in in egg and vanilla until incorporated. Stir in flour mixture until just combined. Fold in 1/3 cup M&M’S Milk Chocolate. Scrape batter into prepared baking pan; smooth top.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until tester inserted in center comes out with just a few moist crumbs clinging to it. Let blondies cool completely on wire rack, then remove from pan. Cut into bars.
- In microwave-safe bowl, microwave marshmallows on MEDIUM heat for 20 to 30 seconds or until melted. Stir well until deflated. Let cool slightly. Carefully dip fingers into melted marshmallow and stretch until thin and web-like, draping over blondies to create a cobweb effect. Sprinkle with remaining M&M’S.
Tip: If desired, with store-bought black tube icing, pipe mini spiders onto blondies.
